What is a fair price for a haircut in Doha?
Anything between 60 and 160 QAR is normal. Below 60 you are at the cheaper end of the market, above 160 you are paying for a bigger salon, a longer appointment or branded products. The middle of the market sits at 100 QAR.
Why do prices vary so much?
The cheapest on this page is 20 QAR and the most expensive 500 QAR, which is the real spread in Qatar. Location explains a lot of it: a salon inside a hotel or a mall in West Bay or The Pearl prices differently from one in Al Sadd or Muaither. Duration, the products used and whether a senior stylist does the work explain the rest.
